PUPSI has three trainers with a combined experience of over 60 years. We train all dogs in basic obedience such as SIT, HEEL, STAY, DOWN, COME and any special problem areas . We also provide housebreaking training and offer help for problem areas such as jumping, puppy biting, etc.

Our program has the highest success rate in the Triangle area and we have trained thousands of dogs since 1993.

Five Day Obedience Training.

All students begin on a Monday and are dropped off at the facility between 8:00 - 9:00am. Each afternoon owners pick up their dog between 4:00 - 6:00pm.  During their day dogs get to play and to socialize on the playground in between their daily lessons.  Each afternoon owners are given an individual, one on one lesson with the dog and our professional training staff member. Trainers show the owner what the dog learned that day and how to perform the commands properly so you are able to reinforce the command at home that evening. Everyone gets homework!  Each day continues this way builiding on the days before.  By the end of the week your dog should know how to heel, sit, stay, lay down and come.  The owner should also know how to work with thier dogs properly to continue the work on their own.  If the you or the dog are not ready by the end of the week, not to worry, we can roll into the next week until both are satisfactory. 

Housebreaking Training. 

PUPSI provides help for your  housebreaking needs. You may combine housebreaking with training or opt for housebreaking only. Dogs participating in this training can be dropped off any day of the week and will stay at PUPSI until we feel the dog is managable enough to come home and start working with the family, usually 5 - 10 days (longer for extreme cases).  You only pay one price for housebreaking, no matter how long it takes. PUPSI maintains an excellent record for helping housebreak dogs and usually has housebreaking students each week. Owners will be  required to do a small amount of work at home while the housebreaking student is at PUPSI. We provide you with all of this information the day you drop your dog off.  Once your dog is ready to come home, a trainer will go over everything you will need to know to carry on the training to success.  As with the obedience training, this is not a finished product once you leave, PUPSI gives you the support, knowlege and tools to succeed but... the day to day work will fall on you when it is over.

Housebreaking Classes.

If you are planning to get a new puppy or simply need help housebreaking your dog Pupsi offers housebreaking classes Mon -Fri. 6.00 - 7.00pm. During this tutorial one of our experts will answer all of your questions and teach you exactly how to housebreak your dog.  This is the "information" part of the housebreaking training only, instead of the whole package which includes leaving your dog at PUPSI for work with our trainers.

Advanced and Other Training.

PUPSI also provides advanced training, off leash, hand commands and Canine Good Citizen Certification.

We also provide behavioral training for problems such as biting, fearful/timid dogs, destructive habits, call us to discuss any issues you have with your dog.
